Word formation: noun verb
2 Replace the underlined words with the correct form of the verbs in brackets. Teaching tips When Ss have completed their answers, ask Ss to go over the answers in pairs: Student A reads an answer and Student B has to add a comment or reply, then Ss reverse roles with the next item, etc. Later, ask one pair to demonstrate how they added comments or replies. 3 Rewrite the sentences, beginning with the expressions in brackets. 1 One day he will be able to speak fluent English. (The day will come) The day will come when he will be able to speak fluent English.
