This unit mainly talks about different art forms. In this unit, students should learn to guess the meaning of a word from the context and try to use the new words to talk about an art form. In this unit, students should also learn to give reasons with because, since and as.

Show students the pictures of different art forms on the ppt and then have a discussion. The teacher can ask questions like: Do you know what art form it is? Can you say something about this art form? Do you like it? Why or why not? 2. Ask the students to fill in the blanks in Part A, P.65. 3. Ask two students to read Part B. 4. Work in pairs and discuss their favourite art form. 5. Ask the students to act the dialogue out. Step 3. Comic Strips T: Eddie and Hobo are talking about art, too. 1. Listen to the tape and then answer the questions on the ppts. 1) What is Eddie doing? 2) Why does Eddie like painting? 3) What does Eddie stop painting? 2.
