how to fall in love with procrastination


1. Hello! Everyone, I am Tasha from mainland, it makes me feel excited that I can have a presentation in Taiwan. As you see can seee, the topic today is “XXX” 2. Last year I did a research about how to overcome procrastination in campus with my teammates. Actually, it is a competition, so we made a poster to ask voters for support. this is the poster we just used. Fortunately, the result of the competition is we got the first prize. 3. But, this research is made during my first semester in college, when we firstly got to know this term seriously. After one year fighting against it using the results we got during the research, I just find I can’t get rid of procrastination. 4. One of the findings in my research is, there are 98% of the college students have been suffering from procrastination. So, it makes me to rethink profoundly, does procrastination is really a bad thing? //Does it only bring us negative experience in lives?// If we can’t get rid of it, can we see it in a more empowering perspective? //Can we find some positive sides?// What if fall in love with it? 5. Initially, this term becomes so popular may blame on some managers in corporation. When employees procrastinate on key projects and tasks, it can cause delays and hurt the corporate bottom lines. Consequently, you can commonly find the anti-procrastination books are writen by current or former managers of corporation. /////I have manage a team as well, so I know how procrastination effects the achievements of a team..////// But if we regardless how it effect the manager, a team or a corporation, we will find that it actually best for individuals. Just please give me time to prove it. 6. firstly, I have prepared several questions for you to think. 20second, First one, what do you do when you procrastinate? How much does procrastination really hurt you? ?. When you are coming upon a deadline, and you seemed to putting off what needs/should to be done, What you are doing instead? According to a research, human tend to do things easier at the beginning. But in my point, the easier thing may not exactly be easy, may just be easy for you., not for everyone. For example. Many of the time I procrastinated, I choose to

exercise instead. For somebody, running may be a suffering. But for me, it is really a enjoyment.////Looking back, I dont think it hurt me in a long run, instead, it helps me to improve my health.////Perhaps, the procrastination is not as negative as them initially seem. The pressure of the movement have the way of distorting your perspective, just as the pressure as distorting a glass. ? This is also from a research, when you procrastinate, the hurt you blaming on yourself is more harmful than the really postponed tasks. 7. Let us see, if we fall in love with procrastination, how it benefit us? ?Learn how to handle negative social pressure. From my own experience, after I experiencing so many procrastination, when I face a challenge which need me to make a response or take action in a pretty short limited time, I will face it peacefully. ?Learn to love ourselves unconditionally. For me, confidence is one of the most significant characteristics for an individual. Enjoying what you do will really make you feel better and exactly makes you better. ?It can help us to become a lot less judgmental toward others. Because accepting others and ourselves are two sides of the same coin, we cannot accept and love ourselves without doing the same with others. ④we can get much more freedom. This is ultimate destination, which I think is a summary of other three benefits. You can think about your own experience, you may find it is reasonable. If you have a tendency to beat up yourselves for procrastination. Stop doing that. It doesnt help you anyway, does it? To sum up, procrastination happens everywhere every time, if you can over come it, why not enjoy it?
