Important and difficult points: 1. Learn to research by cooperation. 2. Learn to make sure of the usage of –ing form and infinitive. 3. How to take an active part in class. 4. 知识链接:Knowledge learned before(阅读练习册 P47) 1. 写出只接-ing 形式作宾语的动词和汉语意思。 avoid, appreciate, admit, consider, deny, enjoy, excuse, escape, finish, imagine, keep, mind, miss, practice, risk, suggest, stand 2. 写出常接-ing 形式作宾语的动词短语和汉语意思。 be good at, be fond of, be worth, devote to, feel like, give up, have trouble/difficulty in, insist on, lead to, leave off, look forward to, object to, pay attention to, put off, think of 3. 写出只接不定式 to do 作宾语的动词和汉语意思。 agree, choose, decide, demand, expect, hope, fail, wish, plan, afford, manage, offer, long, prepare, pretend, promise, refuse 思考:在介词 but, except 后,如介词前有 do,后面接不带 to 的不 定式.如无 do,则接带 to 的不定式. 1). In that case I could do nothing but stay at home. 2) I had nothing to do but agree with him. 4.有些动词后面既可以跟-ing 形式,也可以跟 to do 形式,但意义不 同,写出下列短语的意思。答案在教参 84 页:

点津:1)love, like, hate, prefer 之后,用不定式表示某一具体动作 或情况,用动词 v-ing 表示一般性动作。 2) need, demand, want, require 在表示需要时, 用动词 v-ing 形式的 主动表被动,或用不定式的被动形式. 翻译:这块手表需要修理。 The watch needs repairing/to be repaired. 5. 动名词形式作主语的两种位置: 1.一种是 v-ing 形式短语位于句首 2 是用 it 作形式主语,而将形式 短语移到谓语之后,以避免句子结构头重脚轻.. 翻译并背诵句型: It is no good/use (fun, a pleasure, a waste of time) doing… There is no use /good doing… Summary :In this period, we learnt something about –ing and to do. You must master the usage of these two forms and make sure the difference between them. 动名词作主语和不定式作主语的区别: 动名词作主语表示一般的,非一次的,抽象的,泛指的动作; 不定式 作主语表示具体的,某一次的,特定的动作. _Swimming (swim) is one of my favorite sports. ( 泛指 To swim(swim) in this lake is very dangerous. (特指) 课堂检测: 用括号内的适当形式填空. )
