一:教材分析
(1)本课文在教材中的地位,特点 和作用
从教材整合上来说,reading部分是本单元的 中心环节,它既是本单元的基本语言内容,又为本 单元后面的知识点拓展和综合语言运用奠定了基础。 从教材内容来说,中心话题为在生活中常见、 为人们熟知的“身势语”。通过了解reading这部 分,可以让学生了解到在不同国家习俗之下肢体语 言的差异性。

1.语言知识
?学生能够熟练掌握与“身势语”话题相 关的常用词汇及主要语言表达形式。 ?学生之间能交流、合作,共同就 given topics较好地完成一些开放性话题。

2.技能目标

学生可以通过阅读课文,提高自己的阅读 能力,如skimming和scanning,以及分析归纳 课文,解决问题的能力。

3.情感态度价值观目标
?了解东、西方文化的区别。 ?加强学生的团体协作意识。

重点:
?帮助学生了解、掌握日常生活中常用 的一些身势语。 ?让学生能结合口语及身势语来表达自 己的思想。

二:教法设计

学情分析:
1.对新教材以及本单元内容有了一定的了解,但自主学习 习惯未养成,对教师的依赖性较强; 2.学生们有一定的阅读能力基础,但是还有待提高,尤其 是scanning 和 skimming能力; 3.有些学生因为害怕出错而怯于在课堂上用英语交流和表 达自己的看法; 4.这节课下来,大约80%的学生可以理解掌握课文内容, 60%的学生可以掌握略读和跳读的阅读技巧。

1.通过设置问题指导学生正确阅读 并掌握快速阅读和精读中的阅读技 巧。
2.通过师生之间和学生之间的讨论让 学生学会分析、归纳的方法,培养学 生自主学习、有效交际的学习习惯。

理论依据
新课标提出:英语课程的学习,既是 学生通过英语学习和实践活动,逐步掌握 英语知识和技能,提高语言实际运用能力 的过程;又是他们陶冶情操、拓展视野、 丰富社会经历、开发思维能力和提高人文 素养的过程。
