Final Inspection Protocol – General Product
1 Product All kinds of products, which are not specified in other inspection protocol.

IP-01-B May-12-2003

2 Inspection Final Random Inspection - 100% of the shipment quantity must be produced before inspection can be started and at least 80% of the final product must be packed in export carton.

3 Sampling Plan According to Sampling & Inspection by Attribute Method ANSI/ASQC Z1.4-1993 (formerly known as MIL Std ABC-STD 105E) for selecting inspection sampling plan. If not otherwise specified, use Inspection level II. Acceptable quality level for Critical defect is 0 Major defect is 2.5 Minor defect is 4.0

Visual Inspection

Inspect products at a distance of 18” from eyes to check the product by the methods of vision and touch. (Inspection level II) Types of Defects Oil marks, dirt, rust or stains that cannot be removed Oil marks, dirt or stains that can be cleaned with a proper solution Surface with cracks or scratches longer than 5mm or in total more than 3 cracks or scratches Surface with cracks or scratches not longer than 5mm or in total not more than 3 cracks or scratches Sharp points Sharp edges Rough edges with feeling sharp Rough edges not feeling sharp Pitted surface – depression on the surface affect the overall cosmetic quality Pitted surface – depression on the surface not affect the overall cosmetic quality Broken pieces or chips Missing part Wobbling or rocking on flat surface Lids not fit into opening Deformation of shape Excessive glue Difference in dimensions Excessive flash Loose, non-secure part Uneven, excessive, over painting Sticker, label, printing, painting or surface finishing peeling or flaking off (3 M tape test, inspection level S1) Size, shape, appearance or color not match with reference sample Metal contamination For parts made of Glass or Crystal: Types of Defects Foreign substances in glass Settle wave Bubbles in glass Classification (per severity) Major Minor Major Minor Critical Critical Major Minor Major Minor Major Major Major or Minor Major or Minor Major or Minor Major or Minor Major or Minor Major or Minor Major or Minor Major or Minor Major or Minor Major or Minor Major
