Inspection Conclusion According to the standard of DL/T 1059-2007 Heat Shrinkable Tube for Bus-bars of Electrical Equipment, we have conducted inspection for the 10KV heat shrinkable sleeve MPG10Φ80/40 in a series of items, and concluded that all inspection items are consistent with the requirements.

Ⅶ. Inspection Instruction & Results 1. Exterior Inspection Inspect the heat shrinkable sleeve for bus bars visually, and its surface should be smooth, free of water marks, oil stains and pores or cracks visible to naked eyes. 2. Size Measuring The minimum thickness should be obtained by measuring six points evenly distributed on the circumference of sleeve with a micrometer. The length should be measured with a1mm steel tape. 3. Shrink Performance Take a sample over 300mm long, and measure the size before shrinking and after nonrestrictive shrinking respectively. Calculate the longitudinal variation rate after shrinking according to JB/T7829-2006. 4. Hardness Test The hardness test should be conducted according to GB/T 2411. When thickness of the test sample fails to meet the test requirement, it is allowed that a test sample is made with the raw materials and production processes the same with those of the tested samples. 5. Thermal Impact Test The thermal impact test should be carried out according to Appendix D of JB/T 7829-2006. 6. Mechanical Performance Test The mechanical performance test should be carried out according to GB/T 1040.2, and the aging test should be carried out according to GB/T 7141. 7. Volume Resistivity Test The volume resistivity test should be carried out according to GB/T 1410. 8. Oxygen Index Test The oxygen index test should be carried out according to GB/T 2406.2. 9. Power Frequency Voltage Test Have a bus bar not less than 1000mm long shrunk on a rectangular busbar connector applicable to it with the heat shrinkable tube, and then place another busbar connector of the same specification in parallel with the shrunk insulating busbar connector.Space between the two connectors is 70mm. Apply the power frequency voltage of 42kV on the insulating busbar connector for 1 minute.
