Part 1 The analysis of the teaching material
? The content is from Go for it , Book 1,Unit 9.The topic is “Do you want to a movie?”, which is designed to let students learn to talk about preference and make plans, including two sections—section A and B.

Part 2

The analysis of the students

? Students of this stage are weak in speaking and they are eager to learn more so they can use in the daily life. Because they had learnt unit 6 about the topic ?what do you like?? and this unit is talking about preference, so they had the basis to start a conversation. ? But they are lack of vocabulary to show their preference.

Knowledge Aims
1、New Words: go,movie,action, comedy, documentary,thriller,Beijing Opera,scary, funny,sad,exciting,kind etc. New sentence patterns: Do you want to go to a movie? Yes,I do./No, I don't. Does he/she want to go to a movie? Yes, he/she does./No, he/she doesn't. What kind of movies do you want? 2、Train the ability of show preference and make plans.

Ability Aims
? Comprehend the dialogue not only promote the reading ability, but also input different information for students to further learning; ? Train the students? speaking ability through individual and pair work ? Make a dialogue of introducing his or her preference or plans.

Emotional Aims
? Develop students? love of using English ? Develop their awareness of cooperation

Part 4 Teaching key and difficult points
Key points: Key words learning Sentence structures learning Grammars learning Difficult points: The usage of the Present tense. The correct usage of countable nouns? singular and plural.
